This one by Biossance is made with sugarcane-derived squalane along with zinc, and it absorbed into my skin without too much effort and didn't leave a white cast on my (admittedly very fair) skin. I am stubborn I haven't sworn off chemical sunscreens altogether (and instead am working on a trial and error to try and narrow it down more) however, because of this, mineral sunscreens are having a big moment in my life. In the past year, I have realized I have an allergy to certain chemical sunscreen filters, though I haven't figured out which ones specifically-I know sunscreen formulation plays a role. Also, did you know that to get full protection from the sun, you should be applying about a ¼ teaspoon’s worth for your face and neck (and one full ounce for your entire body)? I do my best to apply this amount every morning, and I stick with the three fingers method to apply.
